ABOUT US
Following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, immigrants to the United States from Austria in 1952, Marc Arnusch became the third generation of Arnusch descendants to work and cultivate land located beneath the shadows of the Rocky Mountains. Today this unique farming community known as Prospect Valley is where Arnusch Farms continues to thrive joined by the 4th generation, Marc and Jill’s son, Brett.
Our valley enjoys highly productive soils and lies directly on top of the Lost Creek groundwater basin which allows Arnusch Farms to utilize this water resource to irrigate the 2,000-acre land base. The core of the farming operation is centered around cereal grain production, including certified seed barley, seed wheat, and wheat and barley for the thriving Colorado craft brew and distilling industry. Grain corn, corn silage, grain sorghum, and alfalfa round out our production.
At Arnusch Farms, we are committed to growing sustainable, high-quality crops through innovative technologies, meticulous work, resiliency, and the true passion of a generational family operation. It’s this commitment that has driven our family for generations, and it’s this value that will always be at the core of our business.
